It took 3 flights, 24+ hours, and what seemed like a lifetime in a taxi navigating the most chaotic traffic ever. But that’s the furthest I’ve ever traveled, and it was worth it for the bags of pandesal from the street vendor and experiencing the friendliness of the local Filipinos.
